Join Contemporary Art Month (CAM) for our annual Kick-Off event at Contemporary at Blue Star! Every First Friday in March, CAM partners with Contemporary at Blue star to officially “kick-off” another year of CAM. The evening is open to everyone and will include live music, button-making, and more.

The Contemporary will be premiering two exhibitions: Alyssa Danna‘s exhibition, Tantalizing Middle Part, and Mosh Now, Cry Later: San Antonio’s love of sad rock and its impact on visual culture, curated by Curator and Exhibitions Director Jacqueline Saragoza McGilvray and featuring Christie Blizard, Justo Cisneros, Joe De La Cruz, Juan Flores, Angela Fox, Brian Gonzalez, Nick Hay, Domeinic Jimenez, Ashley Mireles, Charlie Morris, Theresa Newsome, Ashley Perez, Kristy Perez, Anthony Rundblade. 

It’s also the perfect opportunity to explore the many artist run studios and galleries in the Blue Star Arts Complex. We hope to see you there! Happy CAM 2025!
