During the month of March in San Antonio, Contemporary Art Month provides a platform for the  artist’s communities of San Antonio to share the best it has to offer throughout the entire city. CAM gathers  the best of galleries, museums, performing arts spaces, schools, artist studios and various unconventional  locations in a single calendar to support and promote events contemporary art events and exhibitions all  over the city of San Antonio. 

This year, CAM reached out to San Antonio Highs Schools to submit short films to be considered for the  Student Film Festival. They received an amazing selection of submissions from four different campuses, NESA at Lee High School, Saint Mary's Hall, SAY Sí and Communications Arts High School at TAFT. 

The Tobin is proud to present this Student Film Festival curated by CAM executive board member Sarah  Lasley. The final selection of student films will be presented on the Will Naylor Smith Plaza for a run of 1 hour  and 44 minutes, with a brief intermission and remarks. 

Featured Artists: Jem Annayev, Bjorgvin Arnarson, Christopher Chan, Jake Cortez, Emily Cox, Katarina Erazo, Madison Feik, Estevan Garcia, Cira Garza, Pablo Lambreton, Olive Madrid, Mariana McKenzie, Bruce Miller, Analia Rivera, Ava Smith, Amarissa Soto, Clarissa Soto, Isabella Tealey, Ana Testas, Ines Wallisch, and Kate Whittington.
