For Women's History Month, Lyssa Ochoa, M.D., will lecture about her career as a vascular surgeon. She was born and raised along the Texas-Mexico border. Initially attending Palo Alto College, she went onto medical school, general surgery residency, and vascular surgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX. Dr. Ochoa is also the CEO and President of the San Antonio Vascular & Endovascular Clinics (SAVE). These clinics serve the need for compassionate, personalized, advanced vascular care to the growing population of San Antonio. The lecture is in conjunction with the art exhibition by Sabra Booth, Herbal Traces: Medicinal Plants of South-Central Texas and has been funded by the Alice Kleberg Reynolds Foundation.
