Dock Space Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition by San Antonio sculptor Danville Chadbourne. Spilling over into the Dock Space Annex gallery, the exhibition will include more than 40 works, mostly in wood, ranging from small-scale sculpture to wall pieces and larger freestanding sculptures. The show includes new works from the past year or two, as well as older pieces that, for one reason or another, have never been shown in San Antonio. Chadbourne jokingly refers to them as “bonus tracks.” “I sometimes think of exhibitions like record albums. These are works that for whatever reason got left off the 'album' and are presented here for the first time.”
The exhibition opens in conjunction with the Lone Star Arts District 2nd Saturday Artwalk on March 12, 6-9pm and will remain on view through March 30, 2022. Except for receptions, the gallery is open by appointment only. Please contact the gallery to schedule a viewing time. This event is free and open to the public.
