DAM! | Call for Artists (individual performance)

Lake Elmendorf Dam will have a special call for individual or group collaborators, meaning other artists will have the opportunity to showcase what they can bring to the table to explore the topic of water as a carrier of culture. it will be exciting to offer the space for people to bring their own performance and interactive ideas to the table of how to create work based on the theme of Transformation. In order to make a cohesive experience for the viewer, an inspiration score will be created and provided to give contributing artists a guide to build a cohesive collaborative piece. Thinking of water moving through its different states via evaporation, condensation, precipitation etc just like considering how an idea, land, body can all transform.

Apply by Feb 12, 2023 midnight via google form link telling me what instrument you play and anything about yourself. Rehearsal will be held at Mercury Project. The more clear you can be the better. Ideally you will send a written description and a few photo links (please don’t attach or put photos in the body of the email). Please be clear and concise about your work and ideas.
